Spring is in the air! It’s time to shed those winter layers and turn off Netflix, so you can explore all of the amazing spring festivities that 2016 has to offer! We’re putting together the perfect weekly list of festivals, concerts, and events for the spring and summer.

About: Coachella is without question one of the biggest music events of the year, and on April 15, the 17th annual mega-fest will take place over a two weekend period in The Golden State of Cali. This year Coachella will include more than 180 artists, who represent virtually every genre of music you can think of! Some headlines include A$AP Rocky, Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros, Of Monsters and Men, Guns N’ Roses, G-Eazy, The 1975 and Crystal Fighters. You’ll see small but noticeably new features at the festival compared to last years’ event, including expanded food and craft beer selections and bathrooms with actual flush toilets!

Coachella takes place in mid-April.

Sweetwater 420 Fest

When: April 22-24

Where: Atlanta, GA

About: An amazing blend of music, entertainment, art and culture, all while respecting Mother Earth has grown and evolved each and every year since 2004. 12 years ago SweetWater was just a small local brewery, now they have their own weekend-long, jam-packed Fest you know and love at Centennial Olympic Park. Some headlines include Ben Harper, Ludacris, Manchester Orchestra, The Roots, Kid Rock, The Disco Biscuits, Rebelution, and Bastille.

Sweetwater 420 Fest takes place in mid-April.

Shaky Knees Festival

When: May 13-15

Where: Atlanta, GA

 Price Point: $

About: Another affordable festival in downtown Atlanta. It will be a rock lovers fantasy with 5 stages and over 75 bands performing this year! Be ready for a diverse lineup that’ll include both world-renowned acts as well as up-and-coming artists.

Shaky Knees takes place in early May.

About: Hangout Music Festival is a unique three-day music festival held on the public beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. This annual event has been going strong and growing in popularity since it first began in 2010. This year’s lineup included The Weekend, Ellie Goulding, Florence+The Machine, Lenny Kravitz, Fetty Wap, Grimes and many more!

Hangout Music Festival takes place in late May.
